All we've got to do is make a few good decisions that can make a big difference in the lives of others. We have two choices in life; Take more than you give, or give more than you take, When facing cancer or in any life challenging obstacle or set back, I've found that giving is more fulfilling than taking, it's like the best medication.
So how do we become better givers?
Change, acceptance of change, and looking for the opportunities to give and help others. During my cancer fight, I found it to be an inner strength to be the one who encourages others, rather than just seeking encouragement because of my cancer journey. To be our best for ourselves and others we must be a agent of change, in our book about what cancer taught me about living life, I have a chapter on "Change is Okay"" we all know change is going to happen, and to be givers and people of encouragement we must master change so not to get all tied up in our own life's, to where we miss the opportunity to inspire and encourage others.
We are on a journey of making a difference on purpose, along our cancer journey's we see change as our friend and know that change is okay so why not make the best of it!
If you're looking for speakers to inspire your people or event to keep fighting and never giving up, you've just found a couple cancer fighters on a mission to offer hope and encouragement to everyone we meet!
Change is Okay!
